These obsidian arrowhead-style stones are rustic and framed with a wire wrap. The copper ones have been antiqued and polished by hand to compliment the rustic style. Both the copper and 925 sterling silver pendants will naturally tarnish over time and can be brought back to a shine with a jewellery cloth. Each pendant comes with a complimentary sliding knot cord necklace that can be adjusted in length.
Obsidian is a naturally-occurring volcanic glass where lava cools rapidly without crystal growth. Because it is brittle, it has been used in the past to make cutting and piercing tools and polished to make mirrors. Nowadays it is sometimes used by surgeons for high-quality scalpels.
