This fantastic chevron amethyst pendant measures 50x13mm. Chevron amethyst is also known as dog tooth amethyst and features bands of amethyst and white quartz in zig-zag or ‘v’ patterns. The word ‘amethyst’ comes from the Greek for ‘not drunk’ because the ancient Greeks believed that wearing the stone or drinking from cups made of amethyst would protect them from getting intoxicated! This is beautifully wrapped in copper which has been aged and then polished to compliment the design and highlight the stone.
