A stunning stone of lepidolite in quatrz is the star of this beautiful, big pendant. It’s a show-stopper! Lepidolite is a member of the mica family and is rich in lithium. An igneous rock, this mineral is formed in environments where magma is present. The pink, red and purple colouring of lepidolite is caused by manganese in the rock. The mica surface cleavage reflects the light when moved back and forth, displaying a pretty flash of colour.
This stone is wrapped carefully in natural copper which was then antiqued and hand-polished. The frame design has swirls cascading down from the bail which compliment the stone wonderfully. The pendant comes with a complimentary sliding knot cord necklace which is adjustable to accommodate high or low necklines.
