This majestic labradorite has a deep blue flash. It’s framed with an intricate copper weave and decorated with a tree design on the front. The frame has been antiqued and polished by hand to create a contrast which highlights the beautiful design. This pendant comes with a complimentary sliding knot cord necklace which can be adjusted to suit the wearer’s preferred length.
Labradorite was first discovered near Labrador, Canada, in 1770. It is a feldspar of the plagioclase family and is found in igneous rocks. The flash of colour seen in labradorite is called ‘labradorescence‘ and is due to the light hitting planes within the stone, reflecting back colour.
